Custom Icons & Illustrations for Eika

The project

The Eika Group is a large cluster of local banks in Norway. Back in 2016/17 in my final year of working at Creuna, I was mainly working with the Eika Group (Eika Gruppen) on a way to push their brand further into the digital era. Together with Eika's internal design team, I helped creating new design directions for their main websites and their mobile bank app. The largest focus, however, was at creating a custom icon set, drawing two distinct versions at two different sizes.

Some time after venturing out on my own in 2017, Eika contacted me again to continue working on the icon set, expanding it further. In 2020, a third class of icons was needed, this time of a larger, more illustrative nature. Optimizing for animation was also key with these new illustrations, as seen in some of my animation sketches below.
